Happy Christmas to all from the High Council

Every year at Christmas time
There's a lot of snow.
We spend our yuletide days
In Azeroth's warm cheery glow.

We have the best of Christmas things,
The lights, the gifts, the bells,
And "guildies" who arrive en masse
To fill Dalaran's hotels.

The glorious weather fits right in
With our happy Christmas mood,
And we can also run and raid
Without having to be confused.

So don't feel bad for your Conquistadore friends
Who have no snow or ice.
We think our Warcraft Christmas here
Its a holiday paradise!

Malygos - End of WotLK....so far anyway!

Reds 1 v 0 Blues

Finally we complete the WotLK content, to some of you it seems such a short time
but, you can guarantee, things will only get better (and harder).

Conquistadores have cleared all of the content, including the PVP 25 man
boss before our christmas break. This will now leave us some needed prep
time, so we enter the next patch fully geared and prepared.

Anyone who has pictures of the missing Boss Kills, if you could upload them to the Gallery
they will be posted onto Boss Killers and featured here.

Naxxramas Cleared on Heroic

Splendid!

Apologies for this being posted late, on the 8th December 08 teh Conquistadores
successfully cleared Naxxramas Heroic, despite the many server crashes, unbeliavble lag and
random disconnects.

Which leads us to Malygos, who has already been dragged well into Phase 3. A few minor
tweeks will see his picture here shortly leaving us with plenty of farm time before for the
next patch, which is due in January.

Conquistadores - Burning the Crusade!

DKP System - Updated Changes

After our DKP system has been running for a few weeks, we have discovered a few flaws that need
correcting. Please read the DKP policies page again to ensure you fully understand the changes:

- Tier Tokens : Tier Tokens will now be charged at the same price as a standard item,

For example: A Tier 7 Chest Token would have cost 494 DKP, it will now cost only 260 DKP.
Anyone who has been overcharged for Tier Tokens already will find the cost reduced, refunding
the defecit back to their DKP total.

- Progress/Farm Awards : Progress DKP has been increased to 1 DKP per minute,
Farm DKP has been increased to 0.5 DKP pre minute (this was in effect from the second raid night,
but will not incur any refunding to those who attended before hand).

EDIT @ 14:22 02/12/08 - In error, no raiders have been receiving the Attendance Bonus of 30DKP for
each raid, this has been corrected and adjusted.

Construct Quarter - 3 Down

De-Construct the Quarter!

The good old Construct Quarter, got a good amount of beasting tonight. After
slapping a few trash mobs we succesfully mounted an attack onto this section of Naxrammas.

3 Bosses were downed within our time leaving only 1 in this quarter for tomorrow.

This should lead to a Naxrammas clear within our raiding week, leaving only 1 boss left for this xpack so far.

Sartharion Killed - Normal Mode

Downed in a BLAZE of Glory!

Our first night into Obsidian Sanctum, and a great success. Two groups entered
both of which succesfully downed the 10 man version of Sartharion.

With already having 6 kills stacked in Naxxramas and these latest kills we are off to a flying start.
A Heroic mode is scheduled for tomorrow night, with the High Council feeling another news article
comming.

The Naxxramas Screenies will be posted as soon as I have them, and of course will be updated to Boss
Killers.

For a bit of a momento of The Burning Crusade, a zip file containing all of the boss kill screenies
from TBC will be available from the downloads section shortly, and will be movi-fied soon.

Final Preparations Complete for Wrath of the Lich King

The expansion is now just a few hours away. And as promised all of the information and directives contained
on this website have been updated to finalise the changes that will take place in our guild. Please ensure that you
all read the topics posted in the Rules and Policies section, this will clear any questions or concerns which you
may have had regarding our re-organisation for the expansion.

Updates

Guild Directives - Outlined rules for our guild that all must comply with.
Guild Personalities *New* - Shows responsibilities within the guild hierarchy.
Raid Directives - Outlines rules for those holding or wishing to hold a Raider rank.
Initiate Directives - Outlines requirements an Initiate must meet during their trial membership.

DKP Our Policies - Full introduction to our DKP system, includes Accumulation and Expenditure values.

Changes to DKP

As of 11/11/08 the following costings have been changed:

Weapon: Two Hand - Cost increased from 350 to 400 DKP.
Item Off Hand (Includes Shield) - Cost reduced from 250 to 180 DKP.
Tier Item Cost *Error Correction* - Cost now reads Base Item Cost + 90%

These values are active as of 00:01 12/11/08.

Wrath of the Lich King - DKP System Announced

As mentioned on the Forums some time ago, changes are being made to the way we award
and spend DKP within our guild.

After 6 months of trials, the system is set. You can view the new system in the Rules & Policies
section of the website. All those who feel they will continue to raid into WotLK should ensure they
have read and fully understand this new system to avoid confusion once raids recommence.

Please note, this system is not open for discussion. We do not need suggestions on this topic
as after 6 months of work it is deemed to be as fair as possible to everyone who raids.

Mu'ru Downed

Mu'ru gets murooned!

Speed-in-eck, fast paced, fast acting quick killing....What an awesome raid we took here.

Another great kill to the collection, learning and killing took only 1 hour and 3 mins so
we yet again move 1 step closer to the end of The Burning Crusade.
